Margaret River Pro | Surfer's Point

The Margaret River Pro is a premier stop on the World Surf League (WSL) Championship Tour, held at the iconic Surfers Point in Prevelly. This event requires a unique setup that can withstand the challenging elements of the Western Australian coastline. While our sister company, Reeces, provided the structural marquees on the cliffs overlooking the water, The Event Mill was responsible for the functional internal furniture and logistical support.

Specialised Zones for Officials and Athletes

The marquees for this event serve highly specific purposes, from judging and broadcasting to athlete recovery. The Event Mill provided a curated selection of furniture to ensure these high-stakes areas were fully operational.  

Our involvement included supporting the following zones:

• VIP Viewing Platform: We supplied seating and tables designed to offer a premium experience for guests overlooking the competition area.  
• Judging and Broadcast Suites: Our team provided functional furniture to support the precise requirements of judges and media crews.  
• Athlete Facilities: We delivered the necessary internal furniture for changing rooms and specialised recovery spaces, including the sauna area.  
• Minimalist Styling: To comply with the environmental and site protection requirements of the fragile cliff-top location, we provided a minimal furniture package that prioritised function and site integrity.
